Locate The Setup File

First and foremost, you should locate the downloaded “Setup File” for Office Install. 

For this, you should look at your system’s default download location. By default, your computer will save your downloads under the Download folder.  You can easily access it on your computer.

  • Look at the “Windows” icon located at the bottom left-hand corner of your monitor screen. Then, click on it. This will open the “Start” menu.
  • Now, click on “Documents” from the list of options in the right panel.
  • Then, click on “Downloads” under the “Favorites” section. It will be located on the left-hand side.
  • As a result, it will open the “Downloads Folder”. This window will showcase a list of all your recently downloaded files. Here, you should look for the downloaded “Setup File” for Office Install.

Alternatively, you should search for the “Setup File” at your preferred location provided during the downloads.

Open the Setup File

Once you have located the downloaded “Setup File”. Then, double-click on it to open it. 

Run the File

Now, in case if it prompts you to run the file. Then, click on “Run” or “Save” as per the options provided by the pop-up box.

Permit Changes

As a result, it will open the “User Account Control” window. Here, it will seek your permission to proceed with Office Install process. As such, it will prompt “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?” Therefore, click on “Yes” to permit for the changes.

Wait

The last step will initiate the Office Install process. It might take a few minutes. Hence, wait for the process to complete successfully. 

Close Installer

Once the installation process completes, it will clearly notify the same. You will get the message “You’re all set! The office is installed now” with an animation showing where to find Office applications on your computer. Hence, go through the animation if you want a quick tutorial on your product. Thereafter, click on “Close” to exit the Installer.

Locate The Setup File

First and foremost, you should locate the downloaded “Office Setup File” for Office Install. 

For this, you should look at your system’s default download location. By default, your computer will save your downloads under the “Download Folder”.  You can easily access it on your Mac’s “Dock”. It is located at the very bottom of your monitor screen.

Alternatively, you should search for the “Setup File” at your preferred location provided during the downloads.

Open the Setup File

Once you have located the downloaded “Setup File”. Then, double-click on it to open it. 

Start The Process

Now, you get the initial window of the Installer. Hence, click on “Continue” to initiate the process for Office Install. 

Accept Software License Agreement

Subsequently, you will be provided with the Software License Agreement for Microsoft Office. Hence, scroll down to the very bottom while attentively reading it. Now, click “Continue” to proceed. As a result, a pop-up box will appear prompting you to accept the terms. Hence, click on “Continue”.

Initiate Installation

The next window will prompt you to initiate the “Installation” process. Hence, click on “Install”.

Sign In

After this, a pop-up box will appear prompting you to provide admin permission for Office Install. Hence, type in your Mac Administrator Login ID and Password.

Thereafter, click on “Install Software”. 

Wait

The last step will start the Office Install process. It might take a few minutes. Hence, wait for the process to complete successfully. 

Close Installer

Once the installation process completes, it will clearly notify the same. You will get the message “You’re almost done”. Hence, click on “Close” to exit the Installer.
